Majors
Currently, there are over 1,000 International Studies majors at the Ohio State University, making it the 7th most popular academic program chosen by undergraduates. There are ten majors that International Studies students can choose from either thematic or area studies tracks. The offerings in regional specializations encompass: African Studies, East Asian Studies, Latin American Studies, Middle East Studies, Slavic and East European Studies, and Western European Studies. In addition to offering geographical specialties, International Studies provides a great breadth of thematic tracks: Development Studies, International and Diplomacy Studies, Security and Intelligence, and World Business and Economy.
Minors
The International Studies Program provides ten minors to choose from. International Studies is proud to feature its newest minor: Globalization Studies.
Certificate of Study
A Certificate of Study is an option for students to deepen their knowledge of International Studies while majoring in another area.
